Plug Insertion Machine

The Plug Insertion Machine was designed and built to accurately place a plug into a pre-formed card tube.

This machine could run un-attended by simply having the vibratory bowl filled with loose plugs. These would be orientated and inserted into an accurately positioned card tube. The tubes were handed to this equipment from an upstream forming process.

The Plug Insertion Machine singulated these tubes into individual pockets of an indexing barrel before positioning them for insertion.
