The Low Voltage Transformer Assembly Line handles the assembly and testing of the low voltage down-light transformer. PCB's are accepted from an upstream process and assembled into a two part housing via a 6-axis robot and a 16 station rotary table.
Six of the rotary table stations are dedicated to electrical load tests. The passed parts are printed on both sides with a pad printer and inkjet printer before being placed onto the out-feed conveyor. The Low Voltage Assembly Machine is fully automated with operator required for adding housing components to the vibratory bowl bulk hoppers and packing the output transformers.
A Transformer is produced every 4.0 seconds.
